This film looked a little shakey to me at first, but it’s really shaping up to be a cool looking sci-fi/fantasy film for this Fall. I’ve included some great images from the latest trailer as well of some of the robotic creatures in the film! Article below from scifiscoop.com

Shane Acker’s highly anticipated animated sci-fi fantasy film 9 hits theaters next month. To add to the excitement Focus Features has released an extended preview that includes cast and crew interviews and all new never-before-seen footage.

9 is the first full length feature film from Director Shane Acker and filmmakers Tim Burton (Batman / Edward Scissorhands) and Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted / Nightwatch).
It is based upon a short film of the same name that was made by Acker back in 2005 (click here to visit a page where you can watch the short, the original trailer and an extended clip from the upcoming movie).
9 will be released in the US – September 9, 2009
